My Story

I have had friends who have been touched by breast cancer and Im walking for them. I am healthy and able and am up for a challenge! I’m looking forward to completing this walk and feeling a massive sense of accomplishment in completing 33.1 miles over 3 days. I’ve attempted this walk twice in the past and haven’t been able to do all the miles. This year, I’m following a training schedule and will complete it! It is always inspiring to walk alongside others who are walking for the same reason! Some are survivors, some are currently fighting, and some are friends and family members. Hearing their stories and knowing the stories of my friends inspires me to push myself to complete the event. Here’s to the 3rd time being the charm. Due to circumstances beyond my control, Im doing the 3 day walk on my own, here in my community. It won’t be easy, but I know it will be worth it!!
