My Story
Hello friends and family,
This year will be my 8th walking for a Cure Breast Cancer Walk. In 2008 my sister Julie and I started our walking Adventure. We started when I went to work for Avon, we did the Avon 39.3 miles in 2 days. Those days were filled with so many emotions. And we raised over $1800.00 just to be able to walk. After leaving Avon, life got busy, And we had not walked in a hot minute; then came my first round of biopsies in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Thanks be to God it was negative. I had to get Mammograms every 6 months for 2 years. But Breast Cancer would soon rare its ugly face and touch my family in a very personal way. My bestest girl was diagnosed with it. It’s her story to tell ( SO I WON’T SAY HER NAME), But I am so glad she fought like a girl and, as she says, kicked Cancer in the BALLS. We started our walks again and our week-long adventures. The money that we raise will help others with Mammograms and Treatment. We have a team of 4 this year, We will be walking for Those we have lost, Those that are Fighting and Those that well, kicked BREAST CANCER IN THE BALLS. Please help us by donating any amount that you can. No amount is too small. If you would like us to put a loved one’s name on our Shirts, Please feel free to send us their name. We would be happy to honor them as we walk 30 MILES to Stomp Out Breast Cancer. We Are TEAM LIVIN OUR BREAST LIFE. Thank you in advance for your donation
