My Story

After my mother died this April, I found myself a little lost. For 3 years I had devoted myself to her care and did very little for my own physical, mental or spiritual well-being. In order to regain my sense of self, I felt there could be no better solution than to participate in a 30 miles Pledge the Pink breast cancer walk. Preparing for this event challenges me to focus on getting fit while supporting a very important cause. Everyone knows someone who has suffered breast cancer. On October 25th, 26th and 27th I will be walking 10 miles each day with my team, The Breast Buddies, on 3 islands in South Carolina to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. Please consider making a donation to support this worthy cause.
