My Story
Cancer is personal for me. In 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After multiple rounds of chemo, two surgeries and a lot of medication, I am very proud to say that 2022 marks my year of remission. Hooray and FU cancer!
To celebrate, I am doing the 3 day Pledge The Pink walk with some of my very dearest friends that I met during my freshman year at University of Illinois. Our team is called HOPKINS 1984 after the dorm and the year in which we met and became fast friends. These friends were there for me during my battle with cancer and we walk so future generations of women won’t have to endure what I experienced.
