My Story

Every breast cancer patient has a cancer story. And although we are way more than our cancer stories, the cancer stories are the reason we fundraise. To help those in the midst of the battle for their lives, and to fund the research in hopes of someday never having to fundraise for cancer, ever again. Pledge the Pink is a unique event held in the Carolinas and Florida, that has virtually no overhead, and targets fundraising dollars right where they are needed: to patients, to researchers, to those in the fight. It is an incredible weekend where 1500 of us will walk 30 miles, some faster than others, but all with the goal of celebrating life, lifting each other up, and of course, raising money. As I gratefully celebrate 10 years since my diagnosis, I would love to have your support in raising funds for this incredible event. One dollar at a time, we can chip away at breast cancer, forever.
