My Story
Over the last two years, I’ve covered nearly 4,500 miles on foot. Making 30 miles each year count for something greater than my own health is near and dear to my heart.
Last year, I did the walk virtually in Dallas. This year, we’re hoping to be in South Carolina with thousands of other walkers. The ladies in my cover photo are my core team for the walk.
I’m walking in honor of my grandmother Nada, a 28-year breast cancer survivor before passing from non-breast cancer related causes in 2009; and friends Amy Boyd and Nada Lulic who are both currently in treatment; and the one in 8 women who will battle this type of cancer.
Please consider donating to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Fund, City of Hope, Meg’s Mission for Mammograms and other extremely worth breast cancer charities who ensure the vast majority of their donations are used for research and benefits rather than administrative purposes.
Each $100 donation means a mammogram for a woman who can’t afford one otherwise. Each $100 can save a life.
