Julie's 50th Birthday celebrating life fundraising for PLP

Hello,

I am blessed to be turning 50 on 3/30. I never thought I would be so excited to be turning 50! However, the last couple of years have given me a different perspective. I am grateful for each and everyday I am alive. Not everyone gets the chance to wake up tomorrow.
Therefore, I am livin My Breast Life!

I have done numerous walks with fundraising to support breast cancer. I walked for everyone because breast cancer does effect anyone male or female, young or old. The treatment has come along way and much has been learned and improved. However, there is still more to be done. I thought I knew a lot about breast cancer.
It turns out I did not. Unfortunately, I learned alot the hard way because I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September of 2019.

Luckily because of my yearly mammogram I was able to catch it early.
I chose to have a lumpectomy and radiation. Cancer sucks and so did getting the treatment but it could have been a lot worse. I was very lucky I did not need chemo. The breast cancer meds did cause me to need a total hysterectomy.
Now I just hope and pray I continue to get normal results.

I would really appreciate your fundraising support if you can. I understand it is a tough time to ask for money. I would sincerely appreciate any amount you could donate. I will be fundraising until the walk in October 2021.
