My Story
“Breast cancer sucks—so let’s do something about it.”
This horrible disease has hit my family VERY hard and I am fundraising for participation in a 30 mile walk that fights against this evil foe. I am walking in honor of two of the strongest women I know… my amazing mom Marjorie (she is one “tough cookie”) and my cousin Kerrie. I am also walking in remembrance of my Aunt Barbara and my grandma Katie. I will carry each of them with me as I walk.
Pledge The Pink is a bucket list event where I will walk for a total of 30 miles in 3 days on 3 islands in SC with 1497 other folks, raising money in the fight against breast cancer. The dollars we raise in this event provide gap funding for heroic, budget-restricted, nonprofit service providers. PTP funds biopsies, treatment, and research.
No donation is too small.
