My Story

This is not just another fun walk in the park. Pledge the Pink is a community of support–we walk because we can, and I walk beside some of the most amazing men and women… many of whom have battled, or are STILL battling, breast cancer themselves–or who have held the hand of a loved one lost their battle. Some things in life are just unavoidable–but BREAST CANCER isn’t one of them! It CAN be prevented… with a simple yearly mammogram. I am joining in the Pledge the Pink walk again this year, in hopes to raise awareness, but also to raise donations. Funds raised through Pledge the Pink pay for treatment, research and advocacy. PLEASE consider making a donation today. Not everyone can afford screenings, or doctor bills. That’s why this event, and the funds raised, are so vitally important–it could be a matter of life or death. Early detection and treatment saves lives!

If I can help even just 1 person get a mammogram that will save their life, it will be worth it! You can be someone’s hero–every dollar counts, Wouldn’t you like to help save a life today? No amount is too small — please join us in the fight!
