My Story

In 2009 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was HERS2 POSITIVE and it was already in my lymph nodes. I decided to have a double mastectomy since it was an aggressive form of cancer. I was 37 years old and a mom of 3 my youngest was in his first year of kindergarten. I am fighting for my daughters and son, my family, friends and you. I will be doing a 10 miles a day for 3 days.
This will be 3 wonderful and emotional days as I celebrate 12 years of survivorship. I also turn 50 this year! Thank you Jesus! What a way to celebrate!
How can you celebrate with me?
1. Pray for me and my team. I am committed to completing each day with no short cuts.
2. Donate! The amount doesn’t matter.
Thank you so much. Early detection is the key. Let’s do this and make a difference so that can happen.
