My Story
AHOY! So thrilled to be embarking on my 6th year as a Flockstar and particularly excited that PTP2023 will be on Oak Island, North Carolina!
The adventures on Fripp Island in 2022 were such fun! Especially enjoyed the gorgeous weather and cruising around on the golf cart! So loved meeting some remarkable new friends along the walks. And sharing the experience with Barbara Anne, Joan, and Frannie was truly the BEST!
Of course, the most compelling and overriding element of all is WHY we went and WHY we walked…way too many loved ones lost to cancer…and the more we can do to support education, prevention, research toward a cure, and compassionate outreach to those fighting so valiantly, the better!
I am so grateful for the generous support of family and friends who thoughtfully backed me in the past 5 years with generous financial donations to PTP and shared well wishes and prayers.
I am honored to be walking again in 2023 as a member of the “For 3 Sisters” team! Please check out this terrific Maryland-based organization at https://www.f3s.org
I have established a more ambitious goal for 2023 as I am firmly committed to doing my part to help meet PTP’s $1 million overall goal!
We CAN do this and make an even bigger difference in the fight against the scourge of cancer.
Every $100 raised will help make a mammogram available to someone who cannot afford this critical preventative health checkup.
Let’s get me to $3,500 and together, we’ll potentially save 30 lives.
Can you commit to help me with a $30 contribution? That’s $1 for each of the 30 miles I will walk. I would greatly appreciate your assistance!
