My Story

I am walking in Pledge the Pink a 3 day 30 mile walk in October in Hilton Head , SC to raise funds for breast cancer research and support services for breast cancer survivors. If we raise $5000 we get 75% of the money to bring back to local charities of our choice. We already held a very successful flower sale but every bit helps. My team is Hope for the Future and consists of 3 breast cancer survivors my sister Diana, Amanda and myself and 4 fabulous friends Sharon, Melissa, Ellen and Gemma. We are training and will be walking 10 miles a day for 3 days around the island of Hilton Head SC. Our Mascot is Fancy the Flamingo and for every $200 raised a plastic flamingo is placed to represent a free mammogram for someone in need. Please support my team and donate to this worthy cause.
