My Story

Breast cancer is an emotionally and physically draining disease that has touched me personally and many family members. Many gains have been made in the field but we still have a long way to go in order to assure that all women have access to screening and the best treatments! As a breast cancer survivor of 23 years, I have always wanted to try to help other women, especially young women with children, who are facing a Breast Cancer Diagnosis. I was 33 years old at the time of my diagnosis with a 3 year and a 6-month old. If it weren’t for the support of family, friends and co-workers my struggle would have been so much greater in all aspects. Young mothers with breast cancer are dealing with so many additional challenges, whether it be childcare, finding time/ the right treatments for themselves, and of course financial obligations. Please consider giving even a small donation toward this cause that is so very dear to my heart!
