My Story
Many of you know I have been very active in the fight against Breast Cancer. I have walked in numerous walks, too many to count, and I will continue to walk until there is a cure for this disease.
Breast cancer has affected my family in many ways. I lost my mother-in-law to breast cancer over 30 years ago. I also had a scare of my own, but I can thank god that because of the progress we have made in the fight against breast cancer. I was given the gift of an early warning and I was able to act PROACTIVELY instead of REACTIVELY. I have been blessed with AMAZING doctors that I am grateful for everyday!
I have an AMAZING family that I would never have been able to get through this without them! 1 out of 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. I worry about my daughter, my son & his girlfriend, I worry about all of my family and friends. I never want to see any of them have to worry and deal with this disease.
I will be walking October 17-20, 2024 for 30 miles, over three days, on Amelia Island, FL. I am asking you for your support to help put an end to breast cancer! My incredible friend Elaina will be walking with me again!
I ask you now, think of 8 women in your life…..1 out of 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, PLEASE donate to this amazing event and join my support team. I will do the training and the walking. I will gladly get the blistered feet. I do need your support, please click on the link and donate If there is someone you know who is battling now, or a survivor, please let me know so I can add their names to my walk shirt and they will be with me as I walk.
