My Story
I’m so excited to be doing the Pledge the Pink walk for the fourth time in 2026! I am participating again this year with some of my dearest friends as we challenge ourselves to train for and take part in a three-day, 30-mile walk for breast cancer awareness.
As our team returns for a another year, we’re more energized than ever to push ourselves to achieve our physical goals of completing all 30 miles and to raise as much money as we can to provide funds for budget-restricted, non-profit breast cancer charities.
With each year that I get older, the training gets a little bit more challenging. Alongside that challenge, though, I also feeI gratitude to be able to participate again with people I love dearly, some of them survivors of breast cancer. Each year that our team returns for this walk, there are notable absences–people we’ve met at Pledge the Pink over the years who are no longer there; those who have passed from their own battles with breast cancer. It’s incredibly emotional to bear witness to the impact this disease has on so many. So, I walk again this year for all the cherished, incredible people who have fought or are fighting breast cancer. The ones I know personally. The ones you know. And the ones we may never meet.
As always, I am grateful for and humbled by the support you give and thank you in advance for the difference you make in the world.
