My Story
I walked for Breast Cancer the first time in 2002, walking 20 miles a day from Baltimore to Washington, DC. The second time I walked was in 2016, walking 26.2 miles then 13.1 miles the next day all around NYC. I walked in the Pledge the Pink walk over the past two years and this year I am again joined by my friend Annie. This one should be a breeze – 3 days of 10 mile walks, along the ocean.
The older I get the more people I know who have encountered this terrible disease. I would love to have a hand in eradicating this condition, putting an end to the suffering families must endure in fighting this disease. Plus, if we can cure breast cancer, we can probably cure other cancers. I have learned, if you have your health, you have everything. I have been blessed thus far, and would love to help others regain their health and strength!
Together, we can fight this. Every pledge will help someone to get screened, get treatment and fund research. Thanks so much for helping to support this cause!
