My Story
In 2024 I will take on my 12th Breast Cancer Fundraising Walk. For the fourth year in a row, I will participate as a member of Team Virginia in the Pledge the Pink three day, 30 mile walk to end breast cancer, this time in Amelia Island, FL. Team Virginia is a group of friends, spouses and partners with ties to Northern Virginia who are all committed to finding a cure for breast and other forms of cancer.
I walk because of my many friends and relatives who have fought this terrible fight with cancer.
With the support of people like you, we can help to end this terrible disease and provide mammograms and treatment for underserved populations who are impacted by breast cancer.
