My Story

In September of 2017, I took part in the Avon Breast Cancer walk in Santa Barbara with my girlfriend, Diane. I raised over $2,000 for breast cancer and walked 33 miles in 2 days. (The total was 39 miles but my feet hurt on day 1 after 20 miles. Ha! ) I like having and working towards big goals and helping people along the way. I have wanted to do this PTP for a couple of years now and decided to take the plunge and do it! Pledge The Pink (PTP) is 30 miles in 3 days, only 10 miles a day, and takes place in North Carolina in October. Your donation will help fight breast cancer and help pay for mammograms for women who otherwise, couldn’t afford them. Please think about supporting me in my new goal. For every $100 donated, a pink flamingo (not real one) is donated and a mammogram is is paid for. The goal is to get over one million flamingos on the lawn in North Carolina! Woohoo!!! Thank you everyone and here’s to beating breast cancer!
