Lori's Pink Ladies

Our friend Lori was diagnosed in February 2019 with Breast Cancer.
She was very task oriented and that is exactly how she approached it. She checked Chemotherapy off her list in August of 2019 and was feeling strong and confident going into her Mastectomy. At her one week follow up post op, she learned the amazing news that she was Cancer Free! She had beat it!
She went home that day to celebrate with her husband and sister and started to have trouble breathing. To all our shock and heartbreak, she passed away that evening. She was only 50 years young.
Lori lived out loud and documented everything with beautiful photos, planners and scrapbooks. In an effort to continue her legacy, we are going to run this race series. We sat around a table a few months before she passed and promised to do a girls weekend every year. This is the first annual weekend for Lori. In our hearts we know that she is frolicking in a field of yellow flowers cheering us on.
