My Story
Hi Friends
For the past several years a group of my friends have made the trip to South Carolina for the Pledge the Pink Walk. They come back with amazing stories about an amazing event that helps to raise a lot of money for Breast Cancer Research. Every $100 donation pays for a mammogram and if our team raises $5000 we are able to bring a portion of that money home to a local charity.
So this year I’m taking the plunge and joining my friends in Hilton Head in October to attend this amazing event that I’ve heard so much about. Not going to lie, I’m doubtful that the knees will hold up to walk 30 miles in 3 days, but I’ll do what I can. Most importantly I hope to help raise some money for a great cause.
