My Story

Throughout the years, many of you were in the trenches with me extending a helping hand to others. Whether we were digging in the dirt gleaning crops for food banks, preparing Friday’s supper meal to take to the streets or delivering mattresses to ensure a mother who escaped a bad situation would be able to keep her children – you all were there.

Supporting those in need has always been a part of my heart. After my retirement, I plan to return to giving more of my time and elbow grease. I am celebrating my retirement by participating in the Pledge the Pink at Hilton Head, SC for 3 days a total of 30 miles walk.

For those who are able, I’m asking for your donation for Pledge the Pink Foundation.

I am walking in honor, and memorial, of those I know who have battled cancer.
