My Story

Can you imagine a world without breast cancer? It’s a reality within our grasp. Without a cure, over 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die. No one should have to face this disease, so in order to create a future without breast cancer; we are walking in Pledge the Pink, to raise money and awareness.

We know we won’t cure cancer ourselves, but the money we help to raise will fund a scientist who discovers a major breakthrough. The greatest power we have as an individual is to remind others to be proactive about their own health – do monthly self breast exams, get yearly clinical exams and schedule a mammogram.

Please make a donation to support our fundraising efforts.

Please remember this isn’t just a walk, this isn’t about taking three days to get blisters and cramps for the fun of it. The money you donate isn’t to allow us a Friday off work. This walk is a statement of strength and determination. The money you donate is to help find a cure.
