My Story

Pink Pumpkins refer to my cousin Kathy, who passed away on Halloween 21 years ago when we were both 35 years old. We walk each October in her memory but also for the many friends that have suffered from cancer. I have had breast cancer and a family friend was taken by this disease this past summer. Her loss reminded me that this disease is not cureable and the helpless feeling of survivors, caregivers and present patients, gives us a purpose to keep fighting and work together for a cure.
