My Story

Each of our team members have a story to tell as to why they support the Pledge the Pink organization. Here’s Teresa’s story: In 2023, my dearest friend Lynne asked me to join her for the 3-day 30 mile walk for breast cancer on Oak Island, North Carolina. This was a very moving experience for me, as I know many going through this terrible disease, starting with my mom. My Mom, the strongest person, and my hero was diagnosed in 1988 at the young age of 51. As she went through her treatments, she was allergic to everything, her esophagus would get inflamed, she would be sick for three days after her treatment, but never once did she complain, get mad or say why me. She went onto continue her fight in heaven 18 months later. Three other ladies on our team are surviving and thriving, and they are also my heroes, and I also walk for them. We can and will find a cure for this disease. Please donate to this organization to help us find that cure.
