My Story

I’ve been involved in Breast Cancer awareness walks since 2009. I participated in 10 ~ 60 mile Susan G Komen walks all over the country and have met some incredible people. One in every 8 women will be diagnosed. That’s way too many! Some have conquered, some are battling currently and some have lost the battle. There’s too many of my friends and loved ones battling this right now. I’m walking as a first timer for Pledge the Pink to help put an end to breast cancer, to assist with early detection, to assist with those that can’t afford treatment. I’ve taken a few year hiatus but it’s time to get back in the race for a cure.

Join our Awarewolves team as we storm Fripp Island for the first time. I’ve not been but I know fun will be had, friendships will be made and fundraising will bring a cure closer. That’s all we truly want. Don’t you?
