My Story

When my amazing mom went to Heaven, I was heart broken. But God knew I would need someone to help me through this hard time and he had given me Charlotte. Charlotte was only 5 months old. I knew I would miss my mom, but I hated even more that my little girl would never know her. I had an idea to run a race that would be fun, wild, and scream everything about my mom. I started planning one, even raised a little money. Then I found Pledge the Pink. It was almost everything I had imagined in a race to celebrate my mom and make me feel close to her. I have done this race as often as I can and I love every mile of it. This year Charlotte and I are doing it together for the first time time! We will love spending this time together celebrating Grammy with new and old friends! And we will be celebrating Charlotte’s 8th birthday with each mile!!!
