My Story
Why I’m Fundraising for LIVE Today with Pledge the Pink
I’m fundraising through Pledge the Pink in support of my sister-in-law, Dr. Sheri Prentiss, and the life-changing work of the LIVE Today Foundation.
While I am not a breast cancer survivor myself, I have had a front-row seat to Sheri’s journey — as family, as a ministry partner, and as someone who has watched her turn pain into purpose. I’ve seen her increase breast cancer and lymphedema awareness, education, and prevention not only here in the United States, but across the globe, serving women and communities who are often overlooked and under-resourced.
Through our shared work in ministry, I’ve witnessed the impact of compassion in action — how education saves lives, how dignity restores hope, and how faith fuels resilience. LIVE Today exists because survivorship doesn’t end when treatment ends, and too many women are left without the care and support they need to truly heal.
I’m supporting because I believe in this mission.
I’m supporting because I’ve seen the need firsthand.
And I’m doing what I can so survivors around the world know they are seen, supported, and not alone.
By supporting this walk, you are helping extend care beyond treatment and empowering survivors to LIVE today — with dignity, mobility, and hope.
This walk is an extension of our shared calling — to love, serve, and uplift others.
