My Story
I’m fundraising with Pledge the Pink in support of my dear friend Dr. Sheri Prentiss and the mission of the LIVE Today Foundation.
Sheri and I have been friends for more than ten years, bonded not only by friendship but by a journey no one chooses — breast cancer survivorship. We both know firsthand that cancer doesn’t end when treatment ends. Survivorship comes with lasting physical, emotional, and financial challenges that many people never see.
That’s why I proudly serve on the board of the LIVE Today Foundation, an organization founded by Sheri to support under-resourced cancer survivors living with lymphedema — a chronic condition that affects many breast cancer survivors and requires ongoing, medically necessary care.
I’m fundraising because I believe in this mission.
I’m supporting because I’ve lived this journey.
And I’m doing everything I can so that other survivors don’t have to face life after cancer alone.
By supporting this walk, you’re helping provide dignity, comfort, and hope to survivors who need it most. Every donation — and every share — helps extend care beyond treatment and reminds survivors that they are seen, supported, and not forgotten.
I’m honored to stand alongside a friend, a fellow survivor, and a leader who has turned survival into service.
