My Story
Next month I will participate as a member of Team Virginia in the Pledge the Pink three day, 30 mile walk to end breast cancer. This is my 12th annual BC fundraising walk.
Since this may be my final distance fundraising walk, I am going big in terms of my fundraising goal. Several incredibly generous donors have inspired me to try to raise $5000 prior to September 13th 2024. I have reached 94% of my goal. Please help me raise the final $325 to get across the finish line. With the support of people like you, we can help to end this terrible disease and provide mammograms and treatment for underserved populations who are impacted by breast cancer.
Team Virginia is a group of friends, spouses and partners with ties to Northern Virginia, all of whom are committed to finding a cure for breast and other forms of cancer. I walk because of my many friends and relatives who have fought this terrible fight with cancer.
Please consider making a donation to support this great cause if you can. Any amount can make a big difference.
