My Story

I have eagerly participated in breast cancer walks for the last 14 years because of my many friends and relatives who have fought this terrible fight with cancer. I am committed to continue to raise funds for this organization and cause in 2026, Last year, Pledge the Pink (PTP) and its 1500 walkers raised more than $1M. A fantastic accomplishment!

Pledge the Pink is a 3-day, 30 mile walk to raise funds in the fight against breast cancer. In 2026, the event will take place in mid-October on Oak Island, North Carolina. PTP provides grants to fund breast cancer research efforts and community service organizations supporting those fighting breast cancer. It also provides funding for mammograms for women who cannot otherwise afford them.
