My Story

I am walking again for the 10th year with Pledge the Pink and again I CANNOT WAIT!!! This year we will be walking again at Oak Island, NC! Breast cancer has struck my family and friends and I know that having a mammogram is the first detection! The past few years alone I learned that more of my friends have been diagnosed with breast cancer and thankfully they detected early due to a mammogram and self detection. Being able to support women with a mammogram is so important! I appreciate the support I receive from my family and friends with all my crazy fundraising.

Did you know that only a $100 funds a mammogram? PTP helps with mammograms and beginning treatments. This is a foundation that has helped thousands!

As a team of PTP we recognize these heroic donations by placing a plastic pink flamingo in our annual Flocks of Love display for every mammogram raised.
