My Story

Hi Friends!

I am hoping everyone is well!

This October 19-22, 2023, I will be walking with John, Mo, Mike and 1500 others in the Pledge the Pink in Oak Island, North Carolina. This is a three day walk to raise money to fight breast cancer. The money raised helps those who cannot. Early detection is the best way to fight the disease and the monies raised provide mammograms.

As many know my mother & mother in law each fought the disease, with different outcomes. Now that both are gone, the walk will be bittersweet. I am optimistic the scientists working the last three years can do the same thing for cancer, once and for all! (that includes all kinds of cancer!) With your help, we will not lose any more mothers, fathers, grandmothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, friends, and brothers.
