My Story

My friendship with Carol began when we both participated in Pledge the Pink — back then it was known as Loco Motion — for the very first time in 2015. We met at that event and instantly connected. Over the years, we continued coming back to participate together, and our friendship only grew stronger. Along the way, we found many more reasons to spend time together, whether it was concerts, half marathon,, or simply making memories together.
This year, I’m participating in Pledge the Pink in honor of my dear friend Carol, who lost her battle with cancer. Her strength, kindness, courage and faith continue to inspire me every single day. I’ll be walking to celebrate her life and memory while supporting others who are still fighting this disease.
Cancer touches so many families, friends, and communities, and every donation helps provide support, fund research, and bring hope to those facing this journey. Whether you’re able to donate, share this message, or simply cheer me on, your support means more than words can say.
I’ll carry Carol’s memory with me every mile. Thank you for helping me make each step count.
