My Story
I am walking to support Pledge the Pink – it’s about helping create more cancer Survivors and Thrivers
Pledge the Pink Foundation provides funding for breast cancer screening, treatment, outreach, and research, ensuring that people who might otherwise fall through the cracks can receive life-saving mammograms and care. Every $100 raised helps fund one mammogram — one opportunity for early detection, one chance at life.
I also work with the LIVE Today Foundation who helps to impact cancer care and treatment, especially for those individuals who are under-resourced and underserved..
Cancer is a horrible disease. If you’re able to help support diagnosis, treatment and survivorship, please make a donation and help me with my pledge. There is something very sobering and surreal about cancer touching lives closest to you. Supporting foundations like these provide hope and a real path forward. Early detection saves lives. Information and care impacts the trajectory of a survivor’s journey. I walk and donate over the years honoring those lost, but also celebrating those who survive and thrive, like my dear friends, Dr. Sheri Prentiss, and Yvette Saunders.
