My Story
In 2017, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and that day changed my life forever. Those words made me realize how important it is to not waste one day, to always be cognizant of my words and actions so as to avoid regrets, to muster the courage to face new challenges, and to be brave enough to overcome fears. Those treatments allowed me to meet others, hear their stories, provide compassion, and share ideas. Further, it shined the brightest light on those health care professionals who selflessly and tiredlessly provided the services to restore my health. I could not be more thankful for the outcomes of my experiences.
I am fundraising because I want to help others. Knowing that the money we raise together can help defray the cost for those who may not be able to afford something as simple as an extra tube of radiation gel, or the high cost of a mammogram/MRI, means we can make a substantial difference in another woman’s tribulation. It could even make it possible to find a cure or better treatment options.
Writing these words is still very emotional for me, and I sincerely hope we can help.

Five Years Cancer Free
