My Story

I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma September 12, 2024 and had my bilateral mastectomy surgery on Oct. 17th.! I feel so blessed that my tumor was caught very early thanks to yearly mammograms. I am thrilled to be able to help fundraise so that all women will have the same opportunity I had. This year I’d love to see our team raise enough so that our fundraising goes to local MidMo breast cancer charity. My breast cancer surgeon suggested the Gurucharri foundation that helps cancer patients in the area who have trouble paying bills when they’re going through treatment.
