My Story

Hi everyone! this year once again my family and I are walking in Pledge the Pink. Pledge the Pink is a 3-day 30 mile walk to raise funds for breast cancer support, research and awareness.

I have been walking and raising funds for breast cancer since 2011. I walk because my mother died from breast cancer at the age of 56 and I hope no one has to go through what she did. I count myself blessed that I will turn 62 this year. There were so many things that my mom missed out on, including her grandchildren and great granchildren.

So, I ask if you can to please take a moment and share your good fortune and make a donation to Pledge the Pink. Not just for me and my walk but for those close to you so that they do not know the pain of dealing with breast cancer.
