My Story
Hello. Let me start with saying thank you for visiting this page. I am a breast cancer survivor. In 2018 I moved away from every single person I knew to live out my dream of living at the beach. 5 months after moving, I was diagnosed with early stage 3 hormone positive breast cancer.
After 6 months of intense chemo, on 1/3/2020 I underwent a bilateral masectomy. Then I had to do 4 more months of chemo. I had 8 surgeries that year right in the middle of Covid.
I learned about PTP while doing chemo. It wasnt until 2022 that I was healthy enough to participate. I walked with a walker due to 3 stress fractures in my knee and shin. In 2022 my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She elected to not do treatment but only maintaince. She is still fighting. She, my sister and myself all have the Pal B 2 genetic mutation. This is a genetic mutation. The last picture is of mom and me.
