My Story

We are walking for Candy, our teammate’s sister, who was lost to breast cancer. We are walking for my friend, Keli, who fought so hard for so long and who inspired so many of us with her light. We are walking for our moms who survived breast cancer, including mine, allowing us twenty-two more years with her. We are walking for my aunt and several cousins, who were and are survivors. We are walking for all of those who have fought and those who continue fighting. We are walking for future generations. This year, we are also walking for Stevie, our dedicated and wacky MC, who lost a battle with COVID this year. Thanks for donating and for helping the Candy Girls make a difference.
