My Story

In 2015, at the age of 49, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. I was devastated. Never did I imagine that breast cancer would hit me. My competitive nature kicked and said no way will this beat me! With the help of family and friends, and many surgeries and treatments later I am now in remission. Hallelujah! Without my tribe I would have faltered.

Since that time, with the help of my good friend Jenna, and my Flocking Fabulous team of ladies and spectacular house husband Mike, I spend 3 awesome days at the Pledge the Pink event and raising awareness and much needed money.

Pledge the Pink is run by volunteers only, no salaries are being paid. All of our fundraising efforts go directly to help women, and some men (yes men get breast cancer) get care, support, transportation or medicine. Whatever the need, Pledge the Pink is there!

Please help me raise very necessary funds this year.
I walk for my family and all those families that I been affected.
Please help me exceed my goal to help others.
