My Story

Breast cancer impacted my life from an early age when my paternal grandma passed away from the disease. In more recent years numerous friends and family members have been impacted by cancer.

A group of friends, the Kansas Walkers for Knockers, has worked for several years to raise money to battle breast cancer. We participate because the fundraising for these walking events raises money for free mammograms, assistance to cancer treatment patients and medical research efforts.
