My Story

My name is Christina and Pledge the Pink is something that I have always wanted to participate in. I had a breast cancer scare a few years ago. I went through the whole process of mammograms, ultrasounds, and then surgery. The cost just kept adding up. We were lucky to have family that was able help us financially so that I could get the care that I needed. A mammogram and ultrasound alone is almost $600 without insurance. My hope is that my participation and fundraising can make it a little less of a burden for at least one person to get the care that they need.
