My Story

My group, Crazy Beaches, and I walk each October to help cure Breast Cancer. I have no personal or familial experience with breast cancer, but I know so many who have been stricken with it. Too many. So our group of boot camp besties walk each year with up to 1,500 other like-minded people for the cause. It is a personal challenge and an absolute blast. Hard to imagine that walking 10 miles a day for 3 days in a row could be fun, but it actually is!!! Old friends reunite, new friends are always made, and the memories…oh my gosh the memories, from past walks and the present, are priceless.

I can’t save the world, but I can walk thirty miles. So if you feel so inclined to donate to this cause, I thank you. All $ will go directly to Pledge the Pink.
