My Story
Team painTITpink preps for year #5!!!
And this year the excitement and anticipation is as high as usual, but it also brings a different twist to our quest to conquer 30 miles in 3 days, or technically it will be a little more than 30 miles because apparently the last day is a 1/2 marathon. What are we thinking?
And even more exciting this year we are adding two additional teammates to painTITpink!!!! Lindsey and Rachaelle we can’t wait to have you embark on this adventure with us.
Previously, this fundraising page has focused on three of its team members breast cancer battle and survival
Delisa 2014 diagnosis 2017 survival
Devilla 2011 diagnosis 2012 survival
Kathy 2013 diagnosis 2014 survival.
We make it no secret that we are all three survivors. Holding our heads high that we beat this disease, while simultaneously hanging our heads in prayer for those who were not as fortunate and those who continue to fight.
And we also hold our heads proudly as we are a family of survivors…
Mother, Daughter, Aunt, Sister.
We are Family.
This year our team of 6 comes into Pledge the Pink continuing to do our part to help raise awareness, fund, and anything else we can do for this disease that just crushes to many families. For over a year now one of our teammates, Devilla, has been fighting metastatic breast cancer and yet again this terrible disease has become a part of our lives.
So please join us in the fight by donating what you can, sending encouragement when your heart tells you to, and make sure to remain vigilant with your own yearly exams.
