My Story
Join Us in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
For over 12 years, I have dedicated my time and energy to walking in support of breast cancer awareness and research. This cause is deeply personal to me as I walk in honor and memory of several dear friends and family members who have battled this devastating disease.
Breast cancer affects too many men and women, with one in eight women in the US receiving a diagnosis in their lifetime. Every two minutes, another woman in the US hears those life-changing words: “You have breast cancer.” It’s a harsh reality that underscores the importance of raising awareness and funds to fight this disease.
There are more than 4 million breast cancer survivors and individuals currently living with breast cancer in the US today. Their strength and resilience inspire me to continue this journey. I refuse to sit on the sidelines while breast cancer steals too many lives. Together, we can make a difference.
My husband has been my rock throughout these years of walking. He’s supported me emotionally and ensured I had the final donation to reach my goals. He has been my transportation to and from walk sites, prepared delicious meals (and martinis!), and has been my biggest fan.
This year, I am overjoyed to share that Richard will join me as a walker for the first time. Having my best friend by my side in this fight means the world to me. Doing this together strengthens our commitment and determination to make a difference.
Your support means the world to us and countless others affected by breast cancer. By contributing to this cause, you are helping to fund vital research, provide support to those diagnosed, and ultimately save lives. Let’s walk together towards a future free from breast cancer.
