My Story

“Pledge the Pink” Breast Cancer Walk 2025

Why I Walk…
I walk because in January 2015 my life changed with the words, “you have breast cancer.” I was one of the lucky ones—my cancer was found early and was treatable. Not everyone gets that blessing.
I walk for the more than 20 incredible women I know who have bravely fought this disease—the survivors who inspire me every day, and the two beautiful souls whose journeys ended far too soon.
And I walk for hope. Hope that every step brings us closer to a world without breast cancer. Hope that someday, no one will have to hear those life-shattering words again.
This is why I walk. This is why I fight. And this is why I believe a cure is within reach.
