Legacy of Women - Karen Riney and Kay Fricke

We walk these miles in recognition of our family members who have had breast cancer and the larger family of women who are still developing breast cancer and fighting to survive it.
Every year its amazing the number of women I meet who are fighting for their lives despite all the medical advances.
-Breast cancer accounts for 12.5% of all new annual cancer cases worldwide, making it the most common cancer in the world. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among U.S. women; about 30% of all newly diagnosed cancers each year are breast cancer.
-In 2023, an estimated 2,800 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men.(Breastcancer.org.)
