My Story
Hello Dear Friends and Family,
I am participating in the Pledge the Pink 2022 breast cancer 3-day walk. As a 14 year breast cancer survivor, these events mean so much to me. Not only does this event give me the opportunity to raise money for the cause, but also gives me the opportunity to join others in the fight to end this terrible disease. Whether a survivor, undergoing treatment, or caretaker, this event will inspire, support and give hope to us all. Your donation is greatly appreciated!
Pledge the Pink supports the fight by funding biopsies, treatment, and research. Every penny of the race proceeds goes straight to 501 (c)(3) nonprofits. They provide special grants to help with things like patient transportation to treatment, childcare/elder care during their appointments, home care, insurance co-pays, lymphedema support, and medications.
