My Story

WE DID IT!!!! WE DID IT!!! For my 7th year, Emily (my daughters 1st time) and I walked for Breast Cancer research with my closest friend (her 9th year as a breast cancer survivor) . Once again we joined The Blind Side team and walked 30 miles in 3 days. We recognized my mother (Day Peters) who is a 27 year, 2 time survivor! (I can also count on both hands and feet, many other loved ones affected by this disease.) We raised just short of our $3000 goal (Our team raised close to $9000).
We are excited to go for year 10 in 2020 – again in South Carolina. We always pay all our own expenses and come from various states. Our team has continued to be dedicated to ending Breast Cancer and we are asking for your help – once again! Please consider donating to help us reach our goal of $100,000 in 10 years. We are going to make this our biggest and best year ever! Celebrating Cindy’s 10 year mark and Pledge the Pink’s 10 year anniversary too.
