My Story

This will be my 3rd Pledge the Pink walk in as many years, after participating in 6 Susan G. Komen 3-Day events.

My first event was in 2005, and it ended on the anniversary of my aunt’s death from breast cancer at the age of 50. I’ve met so many people now that have been touched by this disease, either personally or have had family members or friends with breast cancer. The funds from this walk will go towards treatment for those that are uninsured or under-insured.

We’ll be traveling from Sarasota to South Carolina again, to walk 3 days in the fight against breast cancer. I walk because I can, in the hopes that one day this won’t be necessary.

Please consider donating any amount, to help this cause.

If we raise enough funds, we’ll be able to designate a local charity to receive the majority. Won’t you please help?
